Rate: I charge $275 for a 45 minute session for clients.
Lower Fee Appointments: I offer some lower fee appointment slots during the day. At this time, these slots are filled. When these slots become available, I will update my website to reflect this change.
In-Network Insurance: I am currently an in-network provider for Cigna Behavioral Health. Different Cigna plans have different benefits and rates for behavioral health, so it will be important to know what behavioral health plan you have.
Out-of-network Insurance: If you have a different insurance and would want to use these benefits, please call your insurance provider to see if they offer out-of-network benefits that would reimburse you for using my services.
Cancellation policy: An appointment time is set aside specifically for you and as a result, I require a 24 hour notice for cancelling or rescheduling counseling sessions. A $100 fee will be charged to you for late cancellations or missed appointments.
Payment: I accept cash, check, credit card (VISA, Mastercard), and Health Savings Account cards at this time.
When we feel stressed or unwell, it can be difficult to navigate the complexities of health insurance. I hope this section can help clarify some of the confusing terms and help identify important questions to ask me or your insurance company, so that you better understand your benefits and costs.
Sometimes my clients like to speak with their insurance company themselves to learn more about their own health care plans. If you would like to call yourself, your insurance card has a member-services number that you can call to learn more about your benefits.
Look at the next section for questions that would be helpful to ask your insurance company.
I would be happy to clarify your benefits for you on your behalf, if you prefer. I would need specific information that would be found on your insurance card so that I can get the necessary details.
